AI Wordyisms and Their Meanings

Introduction

Let’s start with a mental challenge…..

What is AI Squared?

AI Squared = the root of base intelligence, is it not?

We have been exposed to wordyisms probably since we were born or at least from the time we started comprehending words that were spoken at us.  Stay with me here.  We have all learned by ‘words’ as a base step to our education from very tender years of life.

What I mean by ‘wordyisms’ is a word I believe I have coined to match the acronyms to “word descriptions” that relate to those acronyms applied to artificial intelligence language.

You may be familiar with some of these “isms” or at the very least the acronyms representing their meaning.  Maybe you are not familiar with all of the acronyms that are currently being used to discuss artificial intelligence.

This article is provided to basically acquaint you with some of those acronyms and the corresponding “wordyisms” (or the protracted meaning of those acronyms).

Think about some words that have been created over the past recent years.

For example here are some words and phrases we have learned about.

Cyberattack – instead of harming our computer.

Cybersleuthing – instead of research or investigating using computers.

Why not infoscoopers instead of hacking?

How limited are we that we limit our limitations?  Ponder that.

My point here is that we have realized that we must adjust our language to adapt to the movement of technology in our lives.

So here we go.  Keep this list for future reference as it is becoming more and more difficult to keep up with all the “isms” in the field of artificial intelligence.
